A LIVE RECORDING FROM MY SET IN BEYOND, AREA CLUB IN LONDON ON JUNE 12TH, ITS A FULL 2HR LONG SESSION PACKED WITH MY FAVOURITE TRACKS AND VOCAL SAMPLES. HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

 I haven't enjoyed making a podcast as much as this for ages.   People and the adventures that go with them give me inspiration  to get behind the decks and record.   The clubs have all the energy needed to play live, but setting down a recording is a very different process, for me anyway.    I will do another one soon.  So thank you to the person who gave me what I needed for this latest mix.

Big shout also to all those who make the clubs happen, Steven Sharp, Jay Vockins, Johnny M, Sylvia Rebel (you too Sandy), and all the Guys in the Office, Aaron, Dan, Ryan, Michelle (Congrats!), Carl, Dilwyn, Pia, I'll burn this on cd for your cars...  big shout also to the boys in the club,  John (Congrats too), Max, Tony, let the party continue... x

An especially funky podcast for a big weekend such as this - Bank Holiday!  There should be more in my opinion It was recorded live in the club so forgive any little glitches. ;(  

 So the mix is about an hour and 20 mins so it will just about fit on a cd.  I wanted to give it out to a few people at the club at the weekend.  I will do another "long summer mix" soon, incorporating all the biggest and freshest tracks for the summer months. 

This one has a real disco vibe to it, more samples than you can shake a glow stick at.  As ever I managed to get in a few classic house tracks updated for 2011.  It also includes a superb track from a friend of mine, the very talented Richie D,  together with a flavour of whats to come for the summer : great percussion and funky basslines.  Track list below,  hope you enjoy and please feel free to message if you do   Olix

It's got some disco filtered fun, a new Boogie Pimps track, the new Syke n Sugarstarr which absolutely rocks,  a great track from Tom Novy called 'Now or Never' which i can't stop singing wherever I go at the moment (not out loud tho).   Also I've put on the current Serge Devant number,  a highly requested tune.  There's a track called 'Restraining Order' (?) .  The final section has some real personal favourites, a song called 'wonder why' -  which gets me every time,  and well, I'll leave the others for you guys to hear.  Hope you enjoy.

There is no better way to kiss goodbye to a weekend of full-on partying than in the mosty zesty of all Fire's nights.  It was my first London residency back in 2002-3 and since then has remained my favourite place to play.

This is a mix which hopefully combines the fun and funk of the Orange style you've come to know together with the fresh sounds of 2010.

 ....Hmmmm yes it's been a bit of a delay in putting out some casts. I have no excuse apart from the many late night sets that have kept me out of the studio.  

So here we go with the first of a few new mixes I'm gonna post. This one concentrates on some of the big tracks I've been playing at Fire recently, especially at Later (Sunday afternoons) and Gravity (Friday mornings). It has a much more chunky feel than some of the deeper mixes I posted previously. (They will follow in due course!) Those who have been to the club will recognise a few favourites. Hope you enjoy.
